Becoming Scarlett Review

This chick lit book was fun and funny and more than superficial. Scarlett is the "parent" of her family - her Mum and Dad are actors who are self involved and much too busy and needy to do anything for her. She has been a responsible person until her entirely reliable boyfriend goes off to South America. She drowns her sorrows in a Red - Red Butler that is (yes, really). Things go downhill from there. Or so it seems. Life is messy - but that's the good part, and while there's nothing neat and easy about the ending, it is just right.
