Constantino's Pregnant Bride (Modern Romance) Review
Cassandra and Benedict have an explosive one-night stand on New Year's Eve. Three months later she discovers she is pregnant and there might be complications with the pregnancy. Benedict comes back to look for her and accidentally finds out she is pregnant with his child. He is honorable, and a good Italian guy who feels the need to do the right thing for their child so he proposes a quick marriage. Cassandra wanted a marriage based on love and not based on an obligation, Benedict believed marriage was about mutual respect, family values and understanding. Love came as a bonus. They marry for the sake of the child and Cassie feels she could eventually love Benedict.They go to Italy for a work/honeymoon break. She meets his family but his mother does not like her because she was not the wife she wanted for her son. More family drama ensue, problems and misunderstandings among a couple that barely know each other, their feelings for each other, trying to get to know each other at the same time, learning the culture, relationship issues, were all present. It was a good story with very realistic issues. It was nice to see how the couple's relationship moved from stage to stage to finally get their happy ending.
