I'm about halfway through my maternity rotation and reading through the associated material and I've discovered that it is one of the most redundant textbooks I've yet encountered in my nursing school career. It also has an abundance of editing mistakes; so many that our professors have created a discussion board where we can mention these mistakes and they can confirm them. The mistakes range from minute flaws like "ml" instead of "mL" to referencing nursing care plans that are non-existent in the text.
