Oh Crap, I'm Having a Baby Review

This book is NOT designed as a heartfelt gift to the mother-to-be with no sense of humor. To be honest, it's a little cruel in that it's painfully and in some ways negatively realistic about pregnancy, birth, and childrearing. It's not going to cover up the morning sickness with pink bows and overpriced car seats. It's not going to overshadow your ripping genitals with the bundle of 'joy' that drops out of it. It's not going to make a positive stereotype of pregnancy so you can delude yourself with grandeur like you're the first person to ever have a kid at your crappy baby shower that only 2 people actually wanted to attend.
What it will do is THIS:
1. make you laugh - if you are NOT pregnant and aren't one of those disgusting minivan driving moms with no sense of humor and a desire to censor the world because you don't have the parenting skills or mental skills to talk to your own kids and expect them to make informed choices.
2. give you the other side of the coin (nausea, a HUGE MESS, financial stress, stretchmarks and fat, no time for yourself, no sleep, unbelievable physical pain, embarrassment, possibly pooing yourself for the rest of your life, and potential mortal fear)
I actually don't recommend this book for women who are already pregnant - you're f$%@ed already. I HIGHLY recommend this book for moms who have 16 year old daughters who have a lot of unprotected sex. I think this is NO JOKE PERFECT to keep your kids wearing condoms and using birth control and POSSIBLY a way to control population!
We need both sides of the coin. This book gives us the side most deluded women don't want to look at.
