I'm Pregnant & I Have a Cold Are Over-the-Counter Drugs Safe to Use Review
This book written by Dr. Craig Towers is one that has been needed in the healthcare arena for years. It has been difficult to get information about over-the-counter medications for the pregnant mother. I have been providing education to pregnant mothers for 20 years and now will have a book available which will provide guidance to the pregnant women regarding these medications. Part one of this book will allow the patient to understand the important of knowing how these medications can affect the pregnancy. The patients will receive the basic information about genetics and how the use of medications puts the patient at-risk for birth defects. The seond part of the book is a good analysis of how one develops a cold or the flu. The book also provides different categories of medications, explaining the different affects of the different medications. The patient will be able to refer to this book as a guidance during pregnancy making sure what medications they take over-the-counter are not putting them or their baby at-risk. For the most part this book is easy to read, but the lay person may need to ask their healthcare provider for some clarification. Obstetricians, nurse practitioners and nurses will have a great reference book for providing information to their patients when they have a cold.I'm Pregnant & I Have a Cold Are Over-the-Counter Drugs Safe to Use Overview
