Winning It All: Pregnant with the Playboy's Baby\His Accidental Fiancee (Silhouette Desire) Review

I was very surprised that I liked both of the stories within this book. They are short, but they are able to carry it off well. The stories setting has to do with a polo tournament that lasts many weeks. The heroines know each other, but the stories stand on their own.
The first book Pregnant with the Playboy's Baby is with Nicolas and Vanessa. I really liked both characters and I think they balanced each other out well. Vanessa is considered a wild child even though she isn't a child anymore. She has been trying to overcome her impulsiveness for the sake of her father and his ill health to make sure he has nothing to worry from her. Nicolas is a Polo player that worked his way up and can't keep away from Vanessa. I really liked the opening scene in the book. It made me laugh I don't know why I just think that if I were in that situation I would be mortified, but both characters handled it and from then on I knew I was going to like their story.
The best part about this the book was that both characters had to work on their relationship. Conversations happened and dates....I know a shock for most romances. Nobody was forcing or pressuring anyone to do anything. It just seemed like a natural relationship with depth.
His Accidental Fiancée is with Connor and Brittney. I didn't like this one as much, but it was still a good read. The beginning I was a little put off by because Brittney says that she won't be seduced easily two days later she is. After that part the story got better. Tabloids get a hold of pictures and Connor decides to act like her fiancée so that her father who is senator doesn't lose his upcoming election because of his daughter and her behavior. Of course they fall in love and the end!
Pretty decent reads and both books flowed and were written well.
